Who We Are
- We are a small group of professional therapists who believe massage is a necessary component of a well-rounded healthcare plan.
- We believe that in any aspect of health care, patient and practitioner should be partners in the planning, healing and maintenance process.
- We believe that alongside the concept of curative treatment, the broader concepts of health promotion and prevention of illness are paramount.
Owner, Massage and Neuromuscular Therapist
In 2007, I graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice and Criminology from Metropolitan State College of Denver. I originally got into that field because I thought I was going to be able to really help people, but after working in the field for 2 years, it was not what I expected. So in 2009 I made a career change. I started taking classes in massage therapy because I am passionate about working hands-on with each client to help them reduce pain in the body, reduce stress levels and just live a more open life. Working in the criminal justice field did not give me the one-on-one time I felt I needed to give to my clients to really help them. With massage I have a flexible schedule that allows me to spend the time needed with each client to work with them to help get them on the track they want to be on.
I graduated with honors from Anthem College with a diploma in Massage Therapy in March of 2010. I studied Swedish Massage, Hot Stone Massage, Deep Tissue/Trigger point therapy, Pre & Post Natal Massage and many others. My specialty is Pre & Post Natal massage as well as Sports Massage. My focus in my practice is to help my clients live a life with fewer aches and pains and reduce the amount of stress that is put on the mind and body.
I also enjoy getting out into the community. Working with businesses by offering their employees chair massages or volunteering my services to help raise money for a good cause. In July 2010, I volunteered to help raise money for the American Heart Association and we had a very successful turnout. I have also volunteered my time at the End of Watch walk the City of Aurora put on as well as their Kwanza walk. In March of this year I also helped the Anthem College Massage class at the Denver Home Show. We worked Friday night through Sunday afternoon and it was incredible to see the number of people who visited our station and it was very rewarding to see them walk away feeling better. Working these events and meeting people in the community is extremely rewarding for me.
Certified Massage Therapist
Desiring a career in which she can help people feel better through relaxation and healing, Carolyn graduated from the Massage Therapy Institute of Colorado in 2010. Carolyn believes that bodywork is a very beneficial addition to a healthy lifestyle, as it improves overall health, treats and prevents injury, balances and rebuilds the body, and gives needed relaxation to the body and mind.
Carolyn joined our team in the Spring of 2011 and specializes in Deep Tissue, Prenatal, Sports Massage, and Hot Stone therapies. A native of Colorado, Carolyn loves being outdoors, especially running and hiking.
Laura White graduated from the Massage Therapy institute of Colorado in 2010. Laura's interest in modalities to heal the body started in 1999 when she took her first yoga class which led her to begin teaching alignment-based yoga in 2004. Massage seemed like a natural progression because Laura believes that like yoga, massage is an important healing art useful for reducing stress, relieving pain, enhancing well being and improving the quality of life. Laura believes that a skilled massage therapist is capable of providing a massage that relaxes the body and relieves stress, tension and pain. In turn, this can heighten an individual's awareness of physical, mental and emotional processes that will then provide opportunities for personal growth, transformation and healing.
Laura focuses on Myofascial Therapy. This therapy works to re-establish balance in the connective tissue matrix by decompressing, opening and elongating the fascial membranes. This balance frequently manifests in the appearance of more balanced and erect posture and an increased sense of lightness or lift in the client. Laura works with aromatherapy oils and hot stone massage. In addition Laura is trained in Swedish and Deep Tissue massage, Neuromuscular Therapy, and Reflexotherapy.
Laura lives with her partner Eric and their two cats and two boxer dogs. When not doing massage or teaching yoga you can find Laura at Jazzercise, Zumba or the Cherry Creek dog park!

Fibromyalgia"I have Fibromyalgia and have tried a number of different massage therapists with little success or pain relief. One therapist's treatment put me in bed for two days; another gave me a deep tissue treatment which caused migraine headaches. Julie is well aware of how to handle highly-sensitive individuals. I received immediate relief after my first session with her and experienced none of the negative side effects I experienced from other treatments. As we continue with my therapy, I feel continued benefits and have been able to tolerate longer sessions and gradually increased pressure.
Julie has an innate ability to determine where my problems are based on where I feel pain, and addresses them as they arise. There are many times I am unaware of the true source of my pain until she starts my treatment. The amount of relief I receive from her treatments is immeasurable. Overall, the neuromuscular therapy provided by Julie, along with my acupuncture treatments, are the two things that have helped me reduce my pain medications and continue to function for the past several years. I plan to continue with Julie to maximize my strength, range of motion, pain relief and general feelings of well-being.
I highly recommend Julie to anyone wanting to improve their health and lessen the severity of any chronic pain condition."
